Winter Season details revealed!

After the Autumn Season, it's time to launch the Winter Season! If you took part in the Autumn Season, you won't feel out of place in this Winter Season, but we've still got a few surprises in store for you!

The Winter Season will be shorter than the Autumn Season, but it's organized in the same way.

General organization of the Winter Season

The season breaks down as follows:

• the season itself will last 7 weeks
• three sequences of 4 races
• a grand finale of the Winter Season

The Sequences

Each sequence consists of four races taking place over a two-week period: two Practice Sessions, a Prelude Race and a Prime Race. Each sequence will be unique in terms of race parameters, which will be decided by the community.

Practice Sessions

Practice Sessions are free races that can be used as training for the new race parameters. These races are free, but give 20 experience points to the registered horse. Each sequence starts with a Practice Session, followed by a second one in the third race of the sequence.

The Prelude Race

This is the first stakes race in a sequence. The entry fee is 50 S-Points and redistribution is made on the first five places. The experience gained by the horses is between 40 and 60 points.

• 1st place: 175 S-Points
• 2nd place: 125 S-Points
• 3rd place: 100 S-Points
• 4th place: 50 S-Points

The Prime Race

The entry fee for the Prime Race is 100 S-Points, but the winnings are even greater. This time, the top five finishers are included in the winnings, and the experience gained by the horses ranges from 50 to 70 points.

• 1st place: 325 S-Points
• 2nd place: 225 S-Points
• 3rd place: 160 S-Points
• 4th place: 115 S-Points
• 5th place: 75 S-Points

The Grand Season Final

The ultimate goal for every Racer! Open only to the season's top 100 horses, the Grand Season Final features a prize pool of 25,000 S-Points, fully funded by Stables. The breakdown of prize money will be announced shortly.

A new feature: Diamond races

The big news of the season is that certain races will feature special rewards. These exclusive rewards will be unveiled next week. Each sequence will feature a Diamond race:

• For Sequence 1, the Prime race is the Diamond race.
• For Sequences 2 and 3, the Diamond race can be any race and will not be announced in advance. Surprise!

But who will receive these exclusive rewards? A Diamond race is one in which 20 random echoes are exclusive rewards echoes. In these special echoes, the winner of the echo will walk away with the grand prize!

This season's Leaderboard

No change to the Leaderboard. To reach the Holy Grail of the Grand Season Final, you'll have to fight your way through the Winter Season to earn enough points to qualify.

Each Winter Season race awards points to horses according to their placing in a race

• 1st: 20 points
• 2nd: 15 points
• 3rd: 10 points
• 4th: 7 points
• 5th: 6 points
• 6th: 5 points
• 7th: 4 points
• 8th: 3 points
• 9th: 2 points
• 10th: 1 point
