Get to know our new CEO : an Interview with Lebnan Nader

It's an exciting day at Stables as we welcome our new CEO, Lebnan Nader. Please join me in welcoming Lebnan, and get to know him better in this interview.

Welcome Lebnan, can you introduce yourself to our community ?

Lebnan : Hello! My name is Lebnan Nader, I am 39 years old, originally from Beirut. I live in France for 3-4 years now.

Tell us a little bit about your career journey, what's your background ?

Lebnan : I started my career with Publicis back in 2007, then quickly found my entrepreneurial spirit and started my first company. A video game producer and publisher, where we created more than 20 titles for smartphones and virtual reality. After few years, I started another company that produced software for the PMU and Betting industries in emerging markets. After around 12 years of hectic travels and work, I took a break and came to France to continue my studies where I did an executive MBA at HEC Paris. Since then, I’ve been working with entrepreneurs to help them create their products, go to market strategies and scale.

Why did you decide to join Stables ?

Lebnan : Stables gathers 2 things that I admire and love the most. Video gaming and horse racing. I had spent the last 12 years of my life working in these two industries, finding a company that caters to both industries is very exciting and joining it was an obvious choice.

What do you see as the biggest strengths of Stables right now?

Lebnan : I would start with the community. I believe Stables had gathered a very nice community that believed in the project and kept a positive spin over the last 2 years. I think this is the biggest strength it has and the success of this project will be due to the community. I would add as well that the team is brilliant, passionate and highly motivated to grow Stables. With these two forces, I believe Stables is unstoppable.

How do you see our company evolving in the next year, two years or five years?

Lebnan : it will be hard to predict many years into the future, but I believe we will go together step by step. Starting by working hard on the product and answering the communities’ requests and ideas, focus at the same time on growing Stables in France and abroad. It’s a wonderful product and very scalable, I would love to help it grow beyond European borders and gather equally horse racing and web3 enthusiasts.  

What would be your first mission at Stables ?

Lebnan : Buy few horses and try to win few races!

Joking aside, I think it will all start with the wonderful team at Stables and its community. We have few days to be familiar with each other (editor's note : all the core team members are currently meeting in Paris) and then we’ll put an action plan together.

What do you like to do outside of work ?

Lebnan : I love traveling when I have the chance to do so. I love cooking, even though I am not a very good cook! I love watching sports as well.
